mix n° 22

I wanted to do a lot more with this. I have about two pages of mixing notes and tracking ideas. There’s a middle section I wanted to put in. But it ended up sitting there untouched and calcifying for a few weeks, and now going back to it would be like rebreaking a limb that has set wrong. So here it is, as is.

There’s always more to add to a piece so that it more faithfully describes the initial vision we have of it. I think that’s one of the reasons why we’re driven to create - so that one day we’ll create something which we consider perfect.

But, remember that you’re the only person who hears the more you could have put in and so to us, this is the finished product. I think it works beautifully as it is.

I really liked it.

dang, i’m suffering from foot in mouth disease. what i meant above is that i didn’t think you would say so if you didn’t mean it, not that i thought you wouldn’t like it. anyway…
